So you're telling me that when you can't come up with your own idea you just decide to take the best parts of something that even mildly did well and uh….make it in color?

  2. @UpTheMags74 says:

Puke. Shove your DEI poison, come up with your own ideas. Massive fail.

    Very unforgettable

  14. Batgirl and Coyote vs Acme gets canceled, but this gets a theatrical release?

  15. "the dishes are done, man"- the original

  16. @dan_2584 says:

This looks more like “dont tell mom to take her kids to the theater to see this garbage”

  22. @Jon7763 says:

another precious movie from my childhood ruined by woke corporate greed

  23. A little pray:
Thank you HOEllywood for keeping my money safe in my wallet,
my eyes, ears and brain safe from crap like this,
    Amen!!!

  24. This is not a BET original like it says. This is a ripoff of a 90s classic. This looks absolutely horrible.

  25. @bdawg4231 says:

Alt left garbage… Don't Tell Mom The Movie Is A Pile Of 💩

  26. Im absolutely DONE with Hollywood! What is this crap?!?!

  27. Cultural appropriation. You could've waited until Christina Applegate died first.

  28. Who asked for this?

"Reimagined" = We drained all the fun and redeeming characteristics from the movie and churned out the leftover slop for the room-temperature IQ "modern audiences"

The original "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" was an awesome film about overcoming challenges, earning your way to success, and maturing. Politically-speaking, it's also a very (lowercase L) libertarian movie (making money, being independent, shouldering responsibilities for yourself and others). There's no way this "reimagining" is going to have the sophistication to carry those lessons — it'll be the woke slop about victimhood and being obnoxious to spite the waycists that we've all come to expect.

To be fair, the film makers should've have done the proper thing and race-swapped the babysitter too — she could've been an old, traditional black woman trying to reign in the kids and impart some wisdom, but the things she might've said would have hit too close to home and led to firings at BET as a result.

  30. This movie was a product of its time. Today in the social media age, a company will find out an employee is a teenager and mom will find out the babysitter is dead pretty quick.

  31. I'm gonna be honest, I'm a huge fan of the original. This trailer honestly doesn't make me feel one way or the other about the movie. The core of the original was the family learning about responsibility and learning what it meant to be a family. We'll see if that holds true with this movie.

  32. Remade for the “Morden Audience.”

  33. Just as bad as the Steel Magnolias remake……

  34. Not only can Hollywood and writers NOT write an original story, y'all resurrect a movie that no one wanted. "Adjust for modern audiences" — which means race swapping, but leave the baby sitter as a "white" r@cist and stereotype the hell out of every character. Complete garbage and completely embarrassing!

  35. Is that the Richie kid? Damm those parties with paris really messed her up

  36. @jonyak1221 says:

This looks like crap. Maybe make new original movies instead of remakes no one wants.

  37. @jarjar1593 says:

    This looks soooo bad wow

  38. Did anyone laugh during this trailer? No? Ok just checking…

  39. Stop ruining all these classic movies of my youth…it's criminal and your bastards for it.

  40. So let’s take every classic movie and remake it to be complete crap. What’s next jungle to jungle?

  41. Another race-swap turd in the punch bowl!

  42. Can anybody see what the ratio is?

  43. @ChimpRiot says:

    Those thugs murdering babysitters now.
