What did you think of the Time Variance Authority’s armour in the new Loki series on Disney+? Good? Bad? Indifferent? A bit orange and black/Halloween for your taste?

  1. @Statalyzer says:

It looks way too centrally focused. Like, it seems to leave a huge gap where if the attack comes from directly in front you're protected, but if it comes from a 30 degree angle, your lungs, pancreas, liver, ribs, etc, are all vulnerable.

  2. @najroe says:

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? That is a question that was around before the romans, Greeks… It likely came about the same time as civilization…

  3. That front plate is almost useless.
It only covers the central portion of her torso

  4. The person not wearing the helmet is a payed actor, the audience want to see their face and their hair, at least the director think so.

  5. I read TVA and immediately thought "Huh, didn't know the Tennessee valley authority used armor"

  6. @0xCAFEF00D says:

I really just wish the early parts of the show kept going longer. But assuming Marvel knows their audience right I'm in the minority of thinking small stories with Loki is good.

  7. This is what I would imagine the 40k Adeptus Arbites would look like.

  8. @MKD.357 says:

There are so many huge gaps in that armor anyone with a prison shiv could circumvent it and inflict lethal damage in a second.

  9. @ismata3274 says:

In this case it's Who watches the Watch?

  10. Anarchism yells “THEY’RE COPS.”

  11. This might be a weird question, but where did you get your glasses? They're really nice, and I'd like to get a similar looking pair

  12. @AttackCop says:

It's NAZI Germany related armor.. They are the only authority

  13. @cjslime8847 says:

I have seen too many of your videos to not subscribe

  14. Yeh helmets that don't conceal the face prevent infiltration. Someone read the evil overlord's list.

  15. i thought none of those things. i thought they looked like fakes wearing halloween costumes. i was kinda right.

  16. @kitmakin289 says:

ACAB includes the time variant authority even if they have read the evil Overlord list

  17. Funny enough, the comic version is red white and blue, not even lieing 🤣🤣

  18. @Chazder87 says:

scary and authoritarian like the police

  19. They look less like a SWAT tem and more of a glorified biker who found a plate on amazon ngl. I will keep saying this, if you want sci fi looking uniforms, look at real life military concept arms and armor and current uniforms. We are sufficiently advanced that soldiers with full sets of arms and armor look futuristic

  20. What about the Gilmore graves armor in izombie?

  21. @Chris-nq9nb says:

Isn't "professional, military, police" inherently scary and authoritarian? Great take though, I love how the armour isn't flashy.

  22. They're just rip-offs of Ultors Misako Team from Saints Row 😂
