In celebratory fashion for May the 4th Day, a brand-new trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte has been released.
“In an age of light, a darkness rises.” The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that takes us to a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the Star Wars High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
Star Wars: The Acolyte’s creator, showrunner and executive producer is Leslye Headland. Its executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef. Rayne Roberts and Damian Anderson are producing.
The two-episode premiere of Star Wars: The Acolyte, a Star Wars Original series, arrives June 4 on Disney+.

this doesnt feel Star Wars. Disney has 100% lost any kind of story telling with the Star Wars brand. this show is the equivalent of beating a dead horse. acting looks a bit stiff as well. Star was is dead to me until it leaves Disney.
