Zac Efron burst onto the scene as a fresh-faced teen shooting basketballs and dancing his way across the court in 2006′s High School Musical.
The 36-year-old actor proceeded to star in Hairspray and, more recently, The Greatest Showman.
It’s been a while since his last musical film, but he’s still shown off his pipes in a few movies in recent years. That includes his new rom-com A Family Affair.
While promoting the movie at its Los Angeles premiere this week, Zac was asked if he was interested in starring in another musical in the future. His answer will likely excite you!

“I think it’s just a matter of time; I don’t know how I’m going to get away with not doing one,” Zac told The Hollywood Reporter, adding, “I’d love to do another musical.”
Speaking of High School Musical, Zac recently reacted to two of his old costars, including ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, being pregnant.
