We finally have an update on The Weeknd‘s debut movie!
The 34-year-old entertainer will make his feature film debut in an upcoming suspense thriller alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, and a release date has finally been unveiled.

According to Deadline, the movie titled Hurry Up Tomorrow will be released on May 16, 2025, via Lionsgate.
First announced in early 2023, the film is inspired by and will feature new music from The Weeknd!
If the title sounds familiar to you, that’s because it’s also the title of his next album and his tour. This new album will conclude his trilogy, following After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022).
Trey Edward Shults wrote and directed the film, and serves as a producer, alongside Jenna and The Weeknd, through his Manic Phase company.
The Weeknd‘s Hurry Up Tomorrow album is set to be released on January 24th, and he will have a one night only concert at Rose Bowl Stadium the next night.
