Sarah Hyland is making her long-awaited return to the Broadway stage!

It was just announced that the 34-year-old actress will be taking over the leading female role of Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby, according to People.

She will take the place of Eva Noblezada, who originated the role in the Broadway musical.

“Ten years ago, I hosted a Great Gatsby themed NYE party. Now I’m playing THE Daisy Buchanan in @bwaygatsdby on BROADWAY!!!!!!” Sarah shared on her Instagram story after the news was announced.

Sarah will begin performances as Daisy in The Great Gatsby beginning February 10th at Broadway Theatre in NYC, alongside recently announced Ryan McCartan, who takes over as Jay Gatsby starting in January. Tickets can be purchased HERE!

This marks Sarah‘s first time on Broadway in nearly 20 years after last starring in Grey Gardens in 2006-2007. More recently, she starred as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors Off-Broadway from May to September 2024 alongside Andrew Barth Feldman.
