Some of the terrifying police dispatch audio from the shooting at Rihanna‘s Los Angeles home has been released, and we are now getting the first look at how cops responded to the scary ordeal.

As we’ve been reporting, a woman later identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly showed up to Rihanna’s El Lay home on Sunday afternoon and fired an assault rifle wildly at it.

Per law enforcement sources who previously spoke to the media, Ortiz has since been arrested and charged with attempted murder — and given a pretty hefty bail amount of over $10 million. But now, we are hearing the first audio clips of how LAPD dispatchers and officers on the scene responded to the call.

Per TMZ, which released the dispatch audio on Monday afternoon, the first few interactions between officers on the ground and their dispatchers back at the station were used to determine that approximately ten shots had been heard by nearby witnesses and neighbors.

The newly released audio clip cuts in apparently after those neighbors called the cops, zeroing in on the moments when trained LAPD dispatchers were busy directing the first officers about where to go and what to expect in the rapidly unfolding situation.

In the audio clip, cops quickly zeroed in on the car that was allegedly involved in the incident — what they later determined to be a white Tesla Model 3 with paper license plates — as well as confirming the specific tag number of the car in question. In just three minutes’ time, you can hear how quickly the dispatchers were able to pinpoint what car it was, confirm its plate, and even get an idea of where the car was seen headed after the shooting, which occurred in the Beverly Crest area of Los Angeles.

You can listen to that audio clip HERE.

We continue to send our best wishes to Rihanna, as well as A$AP Rocky and their children — RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki. As we’ve noted, it sounds like none of them were hurt in the incident. However, multiple outlets confirmed Rihanna was at home at the time of the incident, and it’s still not clear if the rest of her family was there. Either way, a truly terrifying ordeal. Ugh.
