October 5, 2026:

Four new LEGO Marvel sets went on sale October 4 — the most historically significant wave in the theme’s 14-year history, because for the first time a single LEGO product line legally places characters from three previously separate film franchises on the same shelf. The Avengers, Fox-era X-Men, and MCU Fantastic Four exist together in official brick form, a milestone made possible by the 2019 Disney–21st Century Fox acquisition.
The wave — five sets in total, counting the Doctor Doom Bust that went on sale September 1 — spans $39.99 to $109.99 and 467 to 954 pieces. Here is what each set delivers, and which one deserves a place in your collection.
Before the October 4 launch, the wave opened with the 76345 Doctor Doom Bust ($49.99, 379 pieces, ages 18 and up) — a display-focused adult collector set in the mold of LEGO’s existing bust series. The 379-piece build recreates Doctor Doom’s metallic mask with gray-silver elements, a foil hood and cape, and a repositionable neck and jaw. It ships with the first Doctor Doom minifigure LEGO has ever produced — a detail that alone drives purchase decisions for serious Marvel collectors, since no other set offered the figure until this wave launched.
The bust measures over 6.5 in. (16.5 cm) tall on its display pedestal and includes a nameplate base that can also hold the included minifigure alongside the sculpture.
40880 Avengers: Doomsday Heroes & Villain ($39.99, 467 pieces, ages 10 and up) is the wave’s lowest-priced entry — a BrickHeadz four-pack building four squat, caricature-style collector figures. The character selection is striking: Thor and Gambit on the hero side (Gambit appearing via Channing Tatum’s role, first established in Deadpool & Wolverine), The Thing bridging the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Doom anchoring the villain slot. Each figure ships with accessories: Gambit’s bo staff, Thor’s Stormbreaker with lightning effects, rocky orange elements for The Thing, and green power blasts for Doom.
The BrickHeadz format occupies its own collector niche — not minifigure-scale, but popular as desktop displays. This is also the most affordable path to a Doctor Doom figure in the wave.
The 76347 Avengers: Doomsday Quinjet ($59.99, 433 pieces, ages 9 and up) delivers a minifigure-scale redesign of the Avengers’ iconic transport, built around four minifigures that quietly confirm the film’s cross-universe premise: Cyclops (X-Men), Doctor Doom (villain), The Thing (Fantastic Four), and Captain America (Sam Wilson, Avengers). In a single $59.99 purchase, a builder gets one representative from each of the MCU’s three converging universes plus the central antagonist.
The vehicle build features two stud shooters at the front, an opening cockpit for a pilot minifigure, and panels that open to reveal the interior. Brick Fanatics noted that this Quinjet cuts out the side builds to give buyers the most affordable Quinjet playset yet — positioning it as the wave’s accessible vehicle option for buyers who want the figure selection more than the largest possible build.
The 76348 Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday ($99.99, 846 pieces, ages 9 and up) is the wave’s most technically ambitious build, and the one generating the loudest early enthusiasm.
The centerpiece is a fully articulated, brick-built Sentinel — a mutant-hunting robot central to X-Men lore and now drafted into the Doomsday conflict. Unlike standard LEGO minifigures, which use standardized 4 cm injection-molded parts, this Sentinel is custom-engineered from standard LEGO elements to achieve the robot’s specific form, with poseable head, arms, legs, and individual fingers all built from modular bricks. The figure stands over 10 in. tall; on its battle-scene base, the full display reaches approximately 13 in. (33 cm). A swappable head and an additional arm allow builders to recreate battle-damaged states, making this a dual-build in a single box.
Six minifigures round out the package: Doctor Doom, Magneto, Thor, Nightcrawler, Mystique, and Mister Fantastic — five of them set-exclusive within this wave, and spanning all three converging universes. Transparent posing sticks let builders suspend them in mid-air combat around the Sentinel for display purposes.
This set is also the most direct expression of the wave’s historical significance: placing Ian McKellen’s Magneto, Rebecca Romijn’s Mystique, and Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler (characters from the Fox X-Men film series, 2000–2019) in the same product as Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor (MCU characters) was commercially impossible as recently as 2018.
The 76352 Avengers: Doomsday New Avengers Tower ($109.99, 954 pieces, ages 12 and up) is the wave’s flagship and the priciest of the October 4 releases. Standing approximately 13.4 in. (34 cm) tall, it recreates the New Avengers’ renovated headquarters across four interior floors: a soda bar and security gates at ground level, a control room with large screen and console on the second floor, and a laboratory, landing pad, and concealed detention facility at the top.
The Tower also holds Easter eggs for attentive fans — black-piece details at the base include Black Panther’s claw and Thor’s Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, referencing heroes not in this specific set’s figure lineup.
Six minifigures are included: Doctor Doom (with hood, cape, and power blaster), Yelena (with dual batons), Red Guardian (with helmet and shield), Bucky Barnes (with blaster), Human Torch (with flame elements), and Sentry (with cape). The character selection tells a story: Yelena, Red Guardian, Bucky, and Sentry are all Thunderbolts-era New Avengers, while Human Torch bridges the Fantastic Four team. The Tower is also the sixth entry in LEGO’s mini modular series — the first in that ongoing line not connected to a Spider-Man property.
Early fan reaction has been more focused on the minifigure roster than the build itself. Some collectors have noted that the Tower’s color palette — heavy on blue — does not precisely match the on-screen building’s appearance, though LEGO’s product description emphasizes both play and display purposes.
Across the three minifigure-based sets (76347, 76348, 76352), buyers collect 16 unique LEGO minifigures — the most comprehensive LEGO roster assembled for any Avengers film wave.
Casual fans and parents buying ahead of the December film release will find the Quinjet ($59.99) the most versatile entry point: affordable, film-accurate vehicle, and a four-figure lineup that touches every team in the crossover. Serious collectors who want the wave’s most striking display piece should look at the Epic Battle Sentinel set ($99.99) — its brick-built articulated figure is unlike anything else in the wave, and Brick Fanatics placed the Doomsday wave second in all-time ranking of Avengers tie-in lines, with the Sentinel set and Doctor Doom Bust as the standout builds.
For builders who want the Tower’s multi-floor interior complexity, the $109.99 flagship delivers the richest building experience — though collectors focused on figure value may find the $99.99 Epic Battle set offers six figures with more individually distinctive sculpts.
The Doctor Doom Bust ($49.99) serves a specific audience: adult display collectors who want the film-accurate sculpture of the MCU’s new central antagonist, and anyone determined to obtain the first-ever Doctor Doom LEGO minifigure as an in-wave exclusive.
All five sets are timed to a ten-week runway before Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters December 18, 2026. The film will be the 39th entry in the MCU and the fifth Avengers film, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (who previously helmed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame) and starring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom — the first time Downey has returned to the MCU since Endgame in 2019, now as the franchise’s central villain rather than its hero.
The film’s confirmed ensemble cast draws from all three franchise pools the LEGO sets already represent: Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, and Tom Hiddleston from the MCU; Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn from the Fantastic Four; and Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Kelsey Grammer, and Rebecca Romijn from the Fox X-Men series. The film has generated $50 million in advance sales as of early September 2026, months before its December release — among the highest pre-sale totals ever recorded at that stage of a film’s marketing campaign.
Its sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is scheduled for December 17, 2027. LEGO’s Doomsday wave is likely only the first of multiple product releases planned around these two films, as additional sets with spoiler-era characters typically follow theatrical release.
All five sets are available now at LEGO.com and major retail partners globally.

The 76348 Epic Battle set ($99.99) includes six figures — Doctor Doom, Magneto, Thor, Nightcrawler, Mystique, and Mister Fantastic — five of them exclusive to this set within the October 4 wave. It is the only set in the wave that places Fox-era X-Men characters (Magneto, Nightcrawler, Mystique) alongside MCU Avengers and Fantastic Four figures in a single box.
Avengers: Doomsday brings together characters from three previously separate franchises — the MCU, the Fox X-Men series (from the 2000–2019 film run), and the MCU Fantastic Four — under one multiverse premise. This crossover was made possible by the 2019 Disney acquisition of Fox, which returned the X-Men and Fantastic Four character rights to Marvel Studios. The LEGO wave reflects that creative consolidation in physical form for the first time.
A Sentinel is a giant mutant-hunting robot, a recurring enemy in X-Men comics and films since their first appearance in 1965. In Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom deploys Sentinels as part of his assault against the assembled hero coalition. The 76348 LEGO Sentinel build is a brick-built articulated figure standing over 10 in. (25 cm) tall — custom-engineered from standard LEGO elements with poseable head, arms, legs, and individual fingers, and a swappable head piece for battle-damage display variants.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to open in theaters December 18, 2026. Additional sets with spoiler-era characters are typical for major Marvel releases — both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame received further waves after theatrical release — so the October 4 launch is likely the first of multiple product drops tied to this film.
