Viture announced its collaboration with S-Game, the gaming studio behind Phantom Blade Zero. Together, the two have made a version of the Phantom Beast XR glasses that live up to the sharp edge the game breathes life into.
This collaboration marks the first time Viture has collaborated with a Chinese gaming studio; however, it’s the second collab overall, following the Cyberpunk 2077 Luma Cyber. Consumers can pre-order the Viture x Phantom Blade Zero: Phantom Beast XR glasses for $599 at viture.com or the IGN Store. The glasses will launch on October 29. Consumers will find a pair of red and black XR lenses, embodying a traditional Chinese wuxia and punk fantasy aesthetic.
Viture says the XR glasses feature “exclusive artwork, engravings, and iconography pulled from the game’s blade-forward visual identity…” All of this is laid on top of Viture’s regular Beast product. The lenses’ temples are another talking point. Viture says they were modeled after the Soul’s blade, frozen mid-draw. What’s more, there’s a neck lanyard with traditional wuxia patterning and martial arts-inspired pads.

If you’re pre-ordering, the collector’s package you’ll receive is packed full of goodies. Viture says the packaging doubles as a shelf display. Not only is it covered in artwork, but the game’s character, Soul, is present, as he readies his blade. Viture and S-Game are also including “a 12.5cm Mó Sanguine blade replica, a game-art card brick, a sticker sheet, and a lens cloth” in the collector’s box.
If you pre-order (or purchase) your glasses before November 5, you will receive a collectible map in the form of a scroll.
The carrying case for the Phantom Beast is shaped like a scabbard. The press release states the “triangular metal drawer wrapped in textured black leather, it opens the way the game’s blades do — sliding, not flipping.” The inside of the case is crimson, and its texture mirrors that of a blade in sunlight.

I’ve never been more interested in a pair of XR glasses than this collab between Viture and S-Game. I was already looking at the game since before PlayStation’s recent State of Play. I love the design themes S-Game has gone with, that traditional style. Plus, red is my favorite color. Pair that with black and white, and you’ve got me.
As previously stated, the Phantom Beast is essentially a special version laid on top of Viture’s natural Beast XR glasses. With that in mind, consumers will experience Sony Micro-OLED panels on a 174” (at 4m) virtual screen. Its refresh rate is rather smooth at 120Hz. The display is paired with VisionPair 3DoF spatial tracking and HARMAN AudioEFX spatial sound. Another key difference is the OSD menu. Viture says it’s been reskinned to fit Phantom Blade Zero’s in-game UI.
Once you unpack it, you can customize your viewing with five different modes, including a 32:9 panoramic aspect ratio designed for PC gaming, per Viture. Moreover, the Phantom Beast offers USB-C connectivity for “plug-and-play” support for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Steam Deck.
