San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York landed in an Ohio jail Sunday … after being arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution.
York was busted in East Palestine and booked into the Columbiana County Jail before posting $5,000 bond.
The case moved quickly from there … prosecutors amended the original engaging-in-prostitution count to misdemeanor disorderly conduct before York pleaded no contest Monday.
York also pleaded no contest to possessing criminal tools — a misdemeanor.
A judge sentenced York to one day in jail on each count, served concurrently, with credit for time already served … and ordered him to pay $1,150 in fines.
According to WKBN, which first reported the news, York’s cell phone was ordered returned to him … while $160 seized in the case was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
York became 49ers team president in 2008 and is the franchise’s majority owner.
We’ve reached out to the 49ers for comment … so far, no word back.
