Kanye West Says He Didn’t Want to Have Kids with Kim Kardashian | Kanye West, Kim Kardashian | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Kanye West is making a shocking confession about his family.

In a new interview, the 47-year-old “Runaway” rapper detailed the early days of his relationship with now-ex wife Kim Kardashian.

“When you speak about Kim, people might be like, ‘Well, you picked her. You put yourself in that,’” podcast DJ Akademiks told Kanye in a video posted to X.

Keep reading to find out more…“Absolutely, I did. That was my fault. No, that was my fault,” Kanye, who was dressed in a black Klu Klux Klan outfit, responded.

“I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with them,” Kanye added. “But that wasn’t God’s plan.”

Kanye and Kim, 44, were married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children: North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kanye discussed his current dispute with Kim, who previously trademarked their kids’ names. If you missed it, Kanye slammed Kim over text when she barred him from releasing the song “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” which features both North and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Despite Kim‘s obstruction, Kanye still released the song.

“When my daughter was put on the song, that’s when I realized that I didn’t own their name and likeness,” Kanye said. “I don’t have at least 50-50 with my kids, so how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities, and I don’t have a say.”

He continued, “This white woman and this white family have the control of these highly influential Black kids that are half the kids of Ye, and that’s just in everybody’s face. They play in my face like that.”

Kanye then reiterated his opposition of Kim and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, declaring, “It’s war! They think they’re too powerful.”

He also criticized Kim‘s supposed intentions when it comes to their four children.

“When you’re a celebrity, it starts to be about more what fame it’s going to get you, what clout it’s going to get you, what money it’s going to get you over, ‘Is this the right thing for your children?’” Kanye wondered. “I’m willing to die for my children than to allow them to be in this environment that I know they’re in.”

Despite their recent feuding, Kim previously explained why there will always be “good vibes” between the two of them.
